Specific Living Skills Assessment
Specific Living Skills Assessments are comprehensive assessments of a specific living skill area (activity of daily living) based on an identified need or as a follow up from an initial needs assessment.
The purpose of this assessment is to determine an individual’s ability to carry out activities of daily living, their support needs and to provide recommendations to maximise independence. Some examples include:
- Meal preparation
- Transfers
- Self care
- Safety and emergency
- Mobility/transfers
