Sensory Assessment
Sensory Assessments help to determine an individual’s sensory preferences and the provision of recommendations to assist individuals to maintain optimal levels of arousal to support learning and engagement. Our Occupational Therapist will use formal assessment tools such as a Sensory Processing Measure or Sensory Profile to help understand an individual’s sensory preferences and needs, and will provide a report detailing the findings, and recommendations to assist with planning for the child, young person, or adult with sensory support needs. At times, undertaking a Sensory Assessment may also assist in formal diagnosis of Sensory Processing Disorders.
