Service Development
SAL Consulting provides consultative clinical support and advice for individuals, teams, agencies and families supporting people with complex needs including people with disabilities and / or mental health conditions, children and young people in out of home care, the homeless and children and families where there are concerns relating to risk of harm. SAL uses a framework of collaborative and integrative practice that is supported by contemporary research.
Such support includes, but is not limited to:
- carer / care team support,
- coaching and mentoring;
- clinical consultation and advice;
- informal and formal embedded learning / training;
- service and program review;
- practice development in areas such as trauma-informed practice / complex case work;
- staff supervision and
- debriefing.
