SAL Consulting brings adolescent version of the Attachment Style Interview to Australia
SAL Consulting is excited to announce the introduction to Australia of the adolescent version of the Attachment Style Interview (ASI-AD). The ASI-AD assesses attachment style in young people and is used across out-of-home care to promote placement matching and stability, and to identify the support needs of vulnerable adolescents with complex needs living at home or in alternative accommodation.
As an evidence-based, standardised interview tool, the ASI-AD informs practitioners about the young person’s view of their world and their relationships and helps identify pathways that will promote social and emotional wellbeing.
It is important for all practitioners to use strategies that assist with risk and foster resilience. The ASI-AD provides practical guidance.
